Glinda Good Witch of the South

So, the wizard of oz has been my favorite movie since I was like 2 or so. But ive never read the books, so I decided to order myself the first one, and then I saw how there was like 14+ books, so I got the first one and the next two in the series.

I kno these are like children’s books, but I don’t really like to read, unless there are pictures, like these books, or a comic book

So I read the first one and I liked it, and loved the pictures, so I wanted to draw a series of characters from the book, sorta as a tribute.

I also wanted to draw these characters in the style that w. w. denslow did, but kinda add my own flair. The pictures and the description of some of the characters didnt add up, so I opted to go with the description of a character rather than the drawing. And some of the pictures through the book weren’t consistent so, if there wasn’t a description , of like Dorothy’s silver slippers, I would look at the pictures, but some pics had bows on them and others didn’t, so I just did what ever I felt like.

I also wanted to add quotes from the character to go with their pictures, but after reading the first book I quickly went to the second, and forgot what the quotes were, of what pages they were on
